This
type of property does not attract GST and hence GST
credits
are not available.
Security
Bond
A
bond may, at the owner's discretion, be required to cover
potential damage, or excessive
wear and tear, to the house.
This will be fully refundable if the house is left in a
satisfactory
state.

Payments
Bookings
are held for 5 working days pending payment of a 30%
non-refundable deposit.
It will be assumed the booking is no longer required if this
is not received,and the right is reserved to take another
booking for the same time in such circumstances. Full payment
is required two weeks prior to the stay.
Even though a
deposit or final payment has been made, the right is reserved
to cancel a booking prior to the stay if it becomes apparent
that:
i) the prospective tenant has not been full and
frank in discussions as to the number of guests staying in the
house or the purpose for which he or she intends to use it.
ii) undertakings to make payment are not being kept.
In cases of cancellation by us, any final payment will
be refunded net of any out of pocket expenses which may have
been incurred in relation to that stay. If cancellation by us
is necessitated immediately prior to, or during your stay,
then requests for refunds will not be entertained.

Linen and bath
towels are provided.
The house is set up for a
maximum
of 10 people. Abuse of
this limit may jeopardise any future booking. In this regard a
dim view is taken of renting other accommodation in Hyams
Beach, then using Pacific Lodge as a social gathering point
for a large number of people.
Please
Note
Due
to the heritage nature, and timber construction of the house
it is requested that:
- there is
no smoking,
- there are no candles
- there are no animals
-
there are no tents or other temporary accommodation
structures
erected in the grounds.
The
house is let on a "private residence" basis and its
use for functions is not permitted
under any
circumstances.
-
Children under 5 are not permitted, unless by prior
arrangement.
There are no facilities for
babies.
- The person(s) renting the house will reside
there during the
rental.
- No
subletting is permitted.
