Watersports

Apart from the surfing at the local beach, there is also worthwhile snorkelling directly in front of the house, where a series of underwater ridges are a haven for small marine life. There is also a boat ramp on the beach to the left of the house for those wishing to launch small boats. For scuba divers there are scuba operators located in nearby Huskisson, and they regularly operate boat trips to the area around the mouth of Jervis Bay. Serious surfers can find find challenging waves at Cave Beach in nearby Booderee National Park.

Bushwalking

There are a number of short walks in the National Park areas to the north and south of the village. For those looking for longer walks there are a number of trails through Booderee National Park. There is an information centre at the entrance to the park where maps can be obtained.


Cycling

Cycling through the Booderee National Park can be very peaceful experience. Bicycle hire is not generally available in the area, so you would need to bring your own.


Golf

For golfers there are two local courses. Vincentia Golf Club has a nine hole course which has several spectacular views of the Bay. For those wanting an eighteen hole course, this is available at the Georges Basin Country Club.

Tennis

Six excellent tennis courts are available for casual use at Erowal Bay (subject to Tennis Club usage). Casual bookings may be made by phoning the General Store in Erowal Bay on 4443 8026. The store has a limited number of racquets available for hire so it is advisable to bring your own.
